Full Mount MMA can reveal that Jeff Lawson’s management have confirmed that he will fight Hatsu Hioki at Sengoku 14 on the 22nd August.

Lawson 14-3 last fought in May at BAMMA 3, defeating David Lee by armbar in 51 seconds of round 1. Ranked amongst the top 10 featherweights in the world Hioki recently reached the Sengoku featherweight final but was unable to compete due to injury, he also won the Shooto lightweight title in May this year when he defeated fellow Japanese fighter Takeshi Inoue via split decision.
